Weather Chart and Calendar: Children observe the weather, update the chart, and add the day’s number to our Velcro calendar. Together, we sing the “7 Days of the Week” song.
Circle Time: Children gather for games and activities, like identifying farm animals and their sounds during themed weeks.
Outdoor Play: Daily outdoor free play in fenced-in playgrounds, with age-appropriate groups and constant supervision. Sandpits are treated regularly for safety.
Games and Activities: Puzzles, colouring, and interactive learning games teach numbers, letters, and more. Activities like cutting and ripping paper or using beads and pegboards enhance fine motor skills.
Learning Letters: Alphabet games, worksheets, art projects, and charts help children recognise and practise letters.
Creative Play: Toys like Lego, dollhouses, and cooking utensils encourage imaginative play and social interaction.
Storytime: Daily themed stories, often using props, puppets, or felt boards, to inspire imagination.
Songs: Interactive songs tied to weekly themes, like London Bridge or If You’re Happy and You Know It.
Art Projects: Weekly themes guide creative activities, like making a multi-day cow project for “Farm Animal Week,” incorporating colouring, cutting, and gluing.
Our activities help children learn while having fun, fostering development across all areas of early childhood growth.
